As promised (well I donno about PROMISE - I AM a pirate ;) ) I have been working on a tutorial on how I have been making my Music Videos...

Actually - my bit of work is turning out to be a full book... to make sure I have everything covered it's gettiing lengthy - but will cover the following:

> General Video Information
- System Specs and Recommendations / Issues I've had
- General Tips for Ideas on Keyboard Keys, Interface, Understanding of Video / Song Scene Planning
- Understanding The Four Postions of Sailing, Cannons, Running and Standing for different Video Angles
> Using The Video Capture Program To Get Video Clips
- Setup Steps to Video Capture in POTCO
- Step by Step Instruction to capture a Video using Camtasia
> Using Windows Movie Maker To Combine Clips Into a great Video
- Setup Steps
- Importing Clips And Sounds
- Step by Step Instructions to make an easy video

Most of the 'typing' is done and now I'm beginning to work on the Screenshots for the tutorial. I hope to have it done in about a week and will post it under the Video Section.

So for those who asked how I did it and what program I used - you may get more than you expected LOL but its on the way and almost done :D

I am about to begin the post for the Video Creation tutorial. It's HUGE, and will most likely require me to do three-four posts to get all the information on the site (depending on limitations of the POF forums).

The Thread will be under the Video / Audio Forum where my Music videos are. PLASE do not post any replys into this thread once it (the thread will be named - Tutorial: POTCO Video Capture And Creation) appears until the entire tutorial is posted - there are Three Sections and each section has 10-20 steps (and all the screenshots to go with them), so having a post split these up could cause issues for everyone to follow all the step required.

I'll begin posting the steps later today, and I will put a Line at the top of the first post to indicate when it is complete - so you can all begin commnting on the work (or passing out for ALL the info...) :)

Silly me - with the new Ship Contest I also made a Screenshot Tutorial (thank goodness it wasn't nearly as hard and only a few screenshots...) which if I have time next week I'll post it in the Screenshots Forum for newer pirates to find their screenies :)

Then I'm taking a holiday! Well a new Video First (almost finished) THEN a holiday :D
