Finally seeing my Pirate on the Docks!!!!!!
 

Hey fellow Mac users,I just logged on and the game updated from pcsv 1.0.11.3 to 1.0.11.5,v 1.0.1.40 and I'm finally able to log on to the games servers....I'm seeing my pirate on the docks....however there are alot of glitches to iron out,as I hit play and the game loads everything around me goes invisible,even me...so I hit my "W" key and it clears up and I could see where I'm going then I make a turn and no vision again...Atleast I've seen my Pirate on the Docks,after a month,so there is hope..keep your fingers crossed...

Sounds to me like maybe the game needs to cash the islands? I had a problem with it until I went all over, then it was fine.

Of course at first the graphics were really messed up b/c it would only let me play at 800x600 Fullscreen. Then I remembered that this was a known Mac issue from before the update (although I never had problems with it) so I switched to Windowed Resolution and the problem was solved!

The graphics are still a little jerky when running, but not too severe. I have not had any trouble sailing, but then again I never did in the past.
