Deleting Threads?

I just posted a thread for members to pray for my dad and grandma who are having cancer, :( and it is now deleted. I posted it in the right place, an off topic forum to talk about non-pirate things.
Please help.

Maybe it is because we aren't supposed to talk about our personal lives? I'm pretty sure I read something that said we're not allowed to do that..

Huh.
Maybe.. but it happened before to my thread that was 100% about POTCO, in the right forum, too, and nothing was bad.

That's weird, I don't know.. Though I've never started a thread before..

technically u used the word "pray" which has to do with religion and talking about religion on the forums is a no no if u start another thread liek wish me luck or something like that they might keep it but i think using the word "pray" was the thing that made them close it

here is one from the rules
