Unable to gain sailing reputation!
I have a feeling this may be because I'm a Basic Access member (or a bug), but I figured I'd ask here anyway, because it's really been annoying me.
I've been stuck at Level 7 sailing (with 6 points out of 1100 to advance to the next level) for at least a week now. I've tried sinking a wide variety of ships with broadsides only (this is the best way to get Sailing XP, right?), but I can't seem to gain any XP from them...regardless of whether it's a Light Sloop or a Frigate (I'm only level 11 noteriety overall in a Light Galleon, so I don't dare go after anything bigger alone!). Any suggestions? I'm totally stumped. :ship: :psmiley22: |
Yes this is a limitation of the basic access account.
Level 7 for skill levels, and Level 12 for notoriety I believe just about any basic pirates with anything different paid previously, changed to basic. |
Thanks for the speedy reply!
So if I become a paid member and then stop subscribing, will I be able to continue gaining XP or will I get cut off again? And just out of curiosity, if I buy fancy ships and then go back to basic, will I lose them? |
When you go from unlimited member back to basic member you lose...
All access to skills above level 7 All access to weapons beyond basic access weapons All ability to access ships beyond basic access level ships. If you have reached the basic level limits, then you will no longer receive reps. The only thing I believe you retain is your Notoriety. |
Good to know...thanks a bunch!
