Barring the Harbormaster
 

Hi,
i was by Elizabeth and have then buy a ship. Then i go to the Harbormaster and click on barring or something else (i don´t know the word now... ^^). But when i click on this ... i don´t get a new quest or something... i click again and again... nothing... is this a bug or while i have bought a ship?

I think I may be having the same problem. When I try to bribe the HarborMaster, he tells me to ask someone else. But then again, I am unable to do any quests and when I try to enter a building the screen goes black.

I have tried removing the game and re-installing and a few other things but nothing has worked so far. Best advice I have recieved is to make a new pirate. I am going to try that today. Hope this helps.

Yes bribe was the word. ^^. Ok tell me than when you have created a new pirate and have tested.

Don't buy a ship before that task.

If you already have a ship the task won't complete.

So basically the easiest way is to create a new pirate and wait until after that task to buy a ship.

I logged in last night with my new pirate and now everything seems to be working. No black screens and I was able to bribe the harbormaster and get a ship! I guess for now we just avoid the quests that are not related to the storyline.
