this has been here for awhile, but didnt war galleons used to have three sail per mast? i saw a war galleon next to me the other day that had three sail per mast and when i went sailing i saw a war galleon that only has two sails per mast. its weird.

Are you talking about player or enemy ships? Because I know the Monarch and Colossus do not have the same number of sails... :)

Masts/Sails can be knocked down in battle.
War Galleons should have 3 not 2 masts.

Both Monarchs, and Ogres (War Galleons) have 3 main masts. (im sailing as we speak and see both ships).

Not sure about the Colussus, cant seem to find one at the moment, but they make some of them bigger so we have something bigger to sink I think. What about the Goliath? Have we seen any of them on the open seas?

Update: Colossus also has 3 main masts (at least the flag ship version) (again im looking at it, as I type).

LoL Guys...the question was about sails per mast - Colossus has more. ;)

Goliath is a War frigate and is only seen in the boss battle.

And yes WG have always had 3 Masts

As far as i know it should have 3 masts. It may of been a glitch but who knows.

i know they have three masts, just different number of sailis per mast. war galleons used to have three SAILS PER MAST. now only two.

My mistake, I had misunderstood the question.

I dont immediately recall what they were before, didnt notice a change.

Both the Ogre and Monarchs though both have 2 sails per mast.

Colossus also a War Galleon has 3 sails per mast.

My War Galleon has 3 sails per mast.

Perhaps they just needed a way to make the Collossus look more Collossus? hehe
