How many cannons balls?
 

I was wondering how many of the regular cannon balls you can shoot at a time at anytime in the game. Also for the lightning cannon ball can you only shoot one?

How fast they can fire thier volley of shots without reload is controlled by the primary cannon skill.

How fast they reload is controlled by one of the passive cannon skills.

I put 5 points on both of those skills myself, faster shooting/reloading.


Regular cannon shot - Loads 3 shots at a time to fire 3 shots in succession without reload

Firebrand cannon shot - Loads 3 shots at a time to fire 3 shots in succession without reload

Lightning cannon shot - Loads 1 shot at a time to fire 1 shot in succession without reload

Fury cannon shot - Loads 3 shots at a time to fire 3 shots in succession without reload

speaking of fury, y is it the highest ranked cannon ammo? doesnt explosive do more damage? but fury still looks kool no matter wut

Well, "Explosive" although doing the highest damage, it has very limited range, is limited to one shot at a time, and reloads terribly slow. If someone takes all factors into account explosive is one of the least effective of all the cannon ammos. It does pack a wallop in those close up fire fights though.

Fury is high damage, quick reload, 3 shots at a time, its the high end of the cannon ammo. I think Lightning only beats it in popularity because you get it before Fury, its easier to aim, and sounds real cool. :)

The higher level cannon you are the more damage they will do. Boss battle requires some good cannon skills :)

so explosive is just kinda usless after u get fury?

but until u get fury isnt it good

Actually, for most battles, it seems to me to be useless (Explosive Cannon).

It loads very slow, very low range, and is hard to aim (because it takes so long for each round to load).

I wouldn't recommend explosive even for one point. Zepper is right it is so slow to load that your target has moved out of range before it is ready.

I got all the types of ammo for my first avi's cannon except explosive.. I felt like I WASTED my skills on ChainShot and GrapeShot, seen people using Thunderbolt and Fury, so I knew I wanted them..

The "best" ammo is the stuff the enemy ships spout out at you.. RoundShot, ChainShot, FireBrand, Thunderbolt, and Fury!!

I didnt waste any skills on my second avi on ChainShot, GrapeShot or Explosive.. I filled RoundShot, Firebrand, Thunderbolt, Fury, and RapidReload. The enemy ships SINK so well..

Well, now I have to work on my 3rd avi, since my other two have mastered Cannon, which is MY FAVORITE thing to do.. watch ships SINK!!!

man im lvl 19 cannon THIIIIIWS close to fury man but it does look pretty darn cool i even saved up an extra skill point from 18 to 19 so ill have fury lvl 2
