How to Find: Diamond In Perdida's Jungle
 

When you go into the Queen's nest.. [Personally I go in by Scary Mary].. Go to the waterfall, but do not go to the upper part, stand in front of the water fall by the river..

See a set of trees to the right and a rock to the left?

Go towards the rock from the river side.. Go up between the trees and the rock so that the river is now behind you.. The first set of trees hides a set of wasp hives.. Go into that area.. It will be near the base of a tree on the right near a hive between the roots..

Usually you have a few dires and a terror to kill first, then you will be able to dig. Your compass should show you between both doorways in the center area of the Queen's Nest..

I would point this does not mean at all that you are in the center area, your actually not even close to the center.

Your pirate's point on that compass will be in that position a good 1/2 of the entire trip across that room (Queens Nest). Once you get a certain distance from an entrance it stops showing your relational distance to that doorway/entrance/exit. Walk a short distance from the door and it will show you 'in the middle' as you say, even though your nowhere close to the middle. The dig spot is actually about 1/3 of the way in from the no scary mary door and 2/3s of the way in from the with scary mary entrance. The river area is really the 'center'.

Its not a big deal, but when I read that, it seemed.. heck that would make it alot easier if that led us there.. but found that I could be anywhere in half of Queens nest and still have the compass reflect that :)

If one goes in the non-scary mary entrance, stays left until they get the rock separating the path, keep walking past rock, and turn left at end of rock. Its right there. Easiest way i've found to explain finding it. :)

Nice coding. How long did it take you to do that? Well, however long it took, very good.

More time than I care to admit. I added the river today and some edges. Be a lot easier if I had a mule on Perdida. Lots of disconnects for some reason.

Anyone read the terms of use lately? Can I just pull this data from the phase files or is that a no-no?

If you are graphically inclined, or are really good at generating maps from data points and want to plot a larger or clearer version of this, let me know and I'll PM you the data points I collected using shift-F1. Several errors in that collected data were corrected and supplemented above.
