Ventrillo Server
 

Im just here to ask if anyone has a ventrillo server that they could put the information on right here on this thread. game gets kind of lonely :sadmh9:

A couple of the guilds use Vent,,,,, But don;t talk about it publicly.

I've been in some discussions about it, and my first guild used it. That guild is now defunct, cause others,,,,, No names mentioned,,,,,, complained about it not being fair. And, it is in violation of Disney policy to give out personal info. So, people were getting banned for giving out Vent server info.
(Myself included.)

Not saying to not do it,, just giving a warning!

Disney's concern as would be POFs, is the lack of control over the potential content in such places as they strive to make the game (and boards here) safe for all.

Public links/information are often picked up and used by those they werent intended for, and who knows whats being said as such an individual wanders in. ;)

I dont see using voice communication as a banning offense, gamers have used voice communication for years now. My guild/clan has had a Ventrillo server for several years, we used Roger Wilco before that.

What causes the ban is sharing that contact info, wether its an email, or a ventrilo server ip/port. Not the act of using voice communication itself.
