Guild Names
 

Hi, trying to select a name for my guild, and can't quite figure out how to get one accepted. I've done the "request name" thing, and got one reply that my guild name is already taken, and tried another, but....no response. No response for any names that I've tried. Is there something I'm not doing? Is there a list somewhere that I can consult to winnow out names already taken? Help!

Well i think if they reject your guild name just go and type another and see what they say it may take a few days or a simple hour or 2 who knows how busy they are.

A few peculiarities i've found while selecting a guild name.

When I type in the guildname and press enter there there is no response to indicate ok, we'll let ya know. for example.

If you then out of curiousity type in the same guild name again thinking it wasnt working, you will be told your guildname is already taken (because you had just submitted it).

If you then try it a 3rd time, it will do the same as the first (quietly accepting it for further review).

It takes 2-3 days sometimes for guildnames to be reviewed.

If at first you dont succeed, try try again. Although not a guildname, it probably works similarly, as long as it doenst already exist. I've asked for "OFx Zeppers" pirate name 3 times, was rejected twice, before it was accepted.

Thanks, y'all. I think they need to improve the feedback in that process a little; sounds like I lost my first choice for guild name because I thought it was rejected. I'll keep trying!

If it says rejected because its already in use, try something else, then immediately try what you really want right after that. It often says its in use because its still waiting for a response from your prior entry (of the same guildname)

If it accepts its (doesnt say anything..) you just have to wait! ;)

they do need to make that thing better

Put in the guild name you want, then log out, then log back in. That is what happened to me, and The Kraken Krew was immediatly accepted. Exept that was back the first day the game came out. So there wherent as many guilds made then.
