Question about braces PLEASE READ
 

I got braces yesterday and i found out what i cant eat but is there anything i cant drink my cousin said i cant drink dark soda but i drank a diet coke yesterday ( when i got them on ) and nothing happened other than my thirst was quenched.

Soda has a lot of sugar in it....this can hide itself in the small spaces around the braces and be hard to clean. If it doesn't get cleaned, then it will start to eat away and decay the tooth at the given location. But I think if you just be careful and brush thoroughly you should be fine....

:p for me if my idiot told me to NOT eat it i went home and ATE it! even if i didnt eat it before just to prove my point :p i have dranken more soda since i had my baces AND eaten more candy and garbage :p just bc he told me not to i did LOL.

It is weird,well at least i don't have braces anymore.

Gotta agree with that. At first they hurt to eat food but after like 3 days you can eat any kind of food again! :D I just got mine on about the end of July and I feel fine now. No pain!

3 days, I wish it took me about a week before my teeth toughened up and i could eat again.
