Guilds for 30+ yr olds

Are there any Guilds that cater to 30+ yr olds by chance? I don't know the ave age of those playing this game, but it's probably younger than that. I'm in a guild now, but there are never more than 2 on at any one time and I have never done a thing with any of them.

I have nothing against younger players, but I'm a single father of two girls and and deal with the younger crowd all day, just would be nice to play with a group closer to my age for a change.

Thanks for any replies and Happy Plundering :piratear:

Hello,

Umbrella Academy is a mostly adult Guild. We keep Guild talk game related, and often group up to play together. The few kids we have, are VERY well mannered, and well behaved.
We have a few rules, but all for the enjoyment of our players.

Let me know if you would like more info, or would like to join.

=)

The Elite Circle is Adults only. We allow for 18 an up, but most of us are....well aged....ahem. Check out the guilds on this site, see if one catches your eye ;)

Take a look around at the posts mate--you'll get a real good feel of the "mood" of each guild.

Happy hunting!

I thought pirates was a Child game... up to, 18? Not 30.

No, POTCO is not just a childerns game (in fact that why its rated ESRB 10+).

In fact - Disney knows who has the long term money to keep accounts open - adults. Thats why the e-mails I received from Disney for the game were not for my child - but for me.

I'm the one who spends the dough to take the family to Disney World every year - and I'm the one they know for all their special offers and events (oh and I know - Disney tries all the time to get me to buy more things :) )

Disney is for families - that would be young and old alike - theres no sign on their door saying "anyone over the age of 14 not admitted" - in fact - I'm sure if they could get a sign saying "adults brings your kids and spend ALL your money here" - they would.

POTCO is just another MMO - just because its got 'Disney's Name' attached to it only means they get the money :D

Glad you found a Guild to suit your needs Stormsilver - thats what your quest was for :)

Believe it or not, most pc gamers out there are well into their 30's and 40's...some even 50's and 60's...you need to remember that many of us were there from the birth of the home pc...and that includes gaming...from the days when Duke Nukem was a side scroller to games like the original Wolfenstein, X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, etc...

We made gaming what it is which is why the target audience for pc gaming is actually people in their late 20's, 30, 40's, etc etc...the way I see it...younger kids are more into console gaming (back when for our consoles we had Colecovision, Atari, Intellivision, Sega and the original Nintendo, lol) while more adults are pc gamers...

And with MMO's like this one...you're bound to find many many adults playing along with their kids...it's fun...

I dont know.. everyone on my XBox Friends list is also in the 30-40 range! **** So, consoles aren't only limited to kids as well. I just think that more adults in general are looking to games to unwind, and spend some 'down time' when it USED to be a kid thing. But then, alot of us WERE the kids who played those games, and growing up isn't stopping us. =D
