EITC Corvette
 

I am attempting to complete the Pirate Lore Quest for my sabre upgrade. But, I can't find EITC Corvettes on the Ocean.

Why are they so hard to find?

Am I looking in the wrong places?

I currently have 4 out of 15 needed, and I find about one every three days. Whats up?

Theres usually a flag corvette near Kingshead/cutthroat, thats about the only one I know of that anyone can 'count' on finding.

There are three spawn points around Rumrunner's, but they alternate sentinel/corvette now. Circle Rumrunner's three times, sinking all EITC you see, then click your heels and you should see some corvettes there. Depending on the server you are on, there is sometimes one halfway between Devil's Anvil and Ile d'Etable de Porc.

Failing those, go for the one Zeppers said: it spawns at Kingshead then goes to Outcast and gets stuck there.

Yup, what these guys said, the Vette flag spawns next to Kinghead, if u launch ur ship there, the Man of War spawns on the right & Vette on the left. Vette sails all the way to Outcast & back...so go find it first, if its tooo far from KH, then get someone on ur crew to launch their ship at KH, so as soon as the Vette u get sinks, the Vette would spawn right next to ur crewmate's ship, so teleport to ur crewmate.....and the rest should come easy, as soon as Vette sinks, another one spawns, & since ur close to KH, u can dock whenever ur full, if u want to that is.... I think me & my 2 friends with me who were also on the same quest got tired after halfway thru with the Vettes, we stopped docking & just sunk the rest coz we were getting mostly crates if I remember correctly.

I remember when I did this quest. My wife and I both swore that before we got the quest, we saw Corvettes everywhere!

Then when we got the quest, they all seem to go into hiding! :laughks2:

After a bit, we kept just changing servers. Eventually one would give up a few, and we got the quest done.

And I swear that now I see them all the time again! :piratewheelgo2:

Edward and Myself seen more than a few behind Rums last night while looking for Death Omens... and of course the Flaggy from KH to Outcast is a given (in fact one of my comments to Edward was "when I needed these 'Vettes I couldn't find them - and now they are all over the place here" :D )

So for guarentee - the Flagship from KH to Outcast is there - and for rotation the Rums Boats appear to be the way to go :)

Out by Outcast there's one that I always seem to get on my trip there.
So if you ever want a Corvette you can go there.
I believe there's one off Tortuga close to the SvS islands.

It worked nicely. I was able to find a pair of Corvettes between Tortuga and Rumrunners (right where you said they would be). After letting them respawn a few times, I had my quota.

Yea i think there is another off the coast of outcast (it be the pile o dirt in the middle of the water).

There should be a ray of light on them.

That part could quite possibly be my least favorite part in the whole quest!!! Pesky corvettes are always just out of my reach. Oh and about that ray of light, never always trust what that light tells you... if it even comes out to help you! Sometimes I would take my ship out and no ray of light would help me... oh well I guess it doesnt like me :3

I had the same problem and emailed Disney which they said, hey its part of the quest, look for them and you'll find them...gee thanks.

Try changing servers and going back out if you don't find any. I was stuck too and then one night I got like eight in a row. Its all random.
