Hit from a mile away(PVP) or anywhere and OMG monkeys with swords
What was big D thinking when they made the rules for how weapons make contact?
mabie they thought all that would play was 10 yr olds so they need help hitting i dont know but its wrong wrong wrong. i believe attacking should make contact like 3-2-1=contact but disney has made it to where if you are trying to move away from an attacker to regen some health or anything period get 10 feet away and the person still hits you last time i checked a sword is not a long range weapon unless you throw it at someone and you cant throw your sword so why oh why does attacks hit you 10 feet away its a serious problem in pvp and makes the leaderboard rankings unfair and people win for not even trying just swing at the air and i killed a poor guy or he kills me. This must be addressed. oh and dont even get me started on the jumping monkeys with swords i know how to jump fight and i dont even use it unless im fighting a computer enemy because it looks cool but in pvp fighting a person should be an in your face experience if you cant get close enough to hit a person then no damage should be dealt expecialy 10 feet away i made the leaderboards a few days back and i never jumped and i always get right up in faces and attack so i feel good about winning live by the sword die by the sword dont jump in circles heres proof needs real attention blow up this post make it hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q...g?t=1221267520 http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q...g?t=1221267777 |
Each time ive actually tried pvp, it appeared the other participant would always use some cheap tactics, wall hacks, or something. I developed a 4 word strategy to address the issue.
Stay away from pvp So far, i've saved myself all that frustration applying them. |
Yes, I agree with Zep. Now-a-days, a lot of leaderboard leaders just can't seem to play fair, especially when it comes to PvP. What I've always thought is that if people can't even fight fair, then they shouldn't even fight. I stay away from PvP because it's just not worth the trouble practicing "Sword Jump" or dealing with "people" using "Sword Jump".

the reason they are far away is the lag.
I played to much hide and seek to know this lol |
I agree the game offers a great system but sadly its bugged terrible. and no fun when all everyone does it cheat.

The "distance" problem is not limited to PvP. I agree that the way they did it seems dumb. But of any bug out there (ahem, I mean, "glitch") this would have to be the lowest of low priorities. As Swash II points out, it could easily be blamed entirely on network latency (lag.)
The PvP system itself is fundamentally flawed, with no option to guarantee equity in a particular match. Likewise, it is flawed in that you can't challenge an individual to a 1-on-1 match. ("I challenge thee to a duel, ye scurvy pirate!") Holding the space bar down for an entire PvP match is just dumb. That clearly isn't how the game is intended to be played. |
my setup is great i get no lag often but it gets bad sometimes, pvp does not lag on me at all because im not in the normal lag of things at that moment .
ive even hit people with high damage attacks and made contact reapeatedly over and over causing no damage to them. they would be like 4 or 5 lvls lower than me regarding 1 on 1 pvp battle you can one on one pvp someone if you crew them and click on mahem in lookout if they accept you will be in a one on one match with whoever you crew with.
