I tried to send the following message in private messages to each guild member. I hope I didn't leave anyone out.
If any of you see this before the sub forum gets closed, Thank you for a good time while it lasted.

I'll be canceling my unlimited subscription to POTC Online and the guild will go as well.
Even though my family and I are Disney and Pirates of the Caribbean fans, I find that I don't play the game very often and cant justify continuing the account.
Also it appears that few if any of the guild's members sign on either.
For a time though, we were a busy guild, and I really enjoyed everyone's online company.
Thank you for your involvement with the Guild.
I'm sending this to everyone who is, or was, a member of the Tortuga Warriors guild.

I can understand the situation, sorry to see you leaving the game, and a great guild coming to a close.

May the trade winds take you swiftly to happiness and prosperity.

Just a minor FYI: the guilds I created when I had "unlimited" did not go away when my game card expired. Signing in once a week to check on the 'ole guild might be worth considering.
