POTC launcher problems

I am unable to launch the POTC.

I keep getting the microsoft error window.

POTCO Launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I was in the game , and froze. Now I have this problem trying to enter again.

Is it just me, or is everyone having this problem? Can anyone give me a hint to fix this if it is just me? So far I have uninstaled everything, and downloaded the program again. To no avail

We had this problem with our desktop and never could figure what the problem was. I read through the logs and saw some references to conflicting programs, Norton/Symantec but even with those disabled we kept getting the Windows errors. Could be the particular kind of graphics card because finally we just reloaded the game on a laptop with lesser specs but integrated graphics and it worked fine. Sorry you're having trouble.

Thank you for your reply,

After playing with the problem virtually all day. I am able to get in again. :)

First I uninstalled the game entire game, reloaded it. Shut down Norton. Still had the problem.

Then I re-booted my computer. This took care of the 1st problem. However I was faced with another problem. That the game shut down with error [4]. What ever that is.

Finally, I reinstalled the game again. This did the trick :D

Still not sure why this problem started after I froze while playing. But glad it is working now.

Sounds like me and you had the same problem, except you got better results.

I've reinstalled it and uninstalled it about three times now, yet nothing changed. -.-

Maybe the fourth time will be the charm, lol.

Nope :( I'm still having the exact same problem as last time.
