what new patch?

Well, my original sources said the 14th to the 16th of May, but from the looks of it, it probably isn't gonna happen. My guess is around the same time as the movie.

I'm almost certain that it will come out this month, though. The site says it will be released in Spring 2007. Well, it's 2007, and May is the last month of Spring (or is it June? I think that's the first month of Summer, though...).

I won't claim I have insider info, because I don't. When I said "sources" I meant a Disney magazine I read a while back (forgot the title already. XD), which stated that the release date was the 14th of May. Obviously, that magazine isn't too reliable, now is it? :D

I really want to say that it will be released alongside the movie, but I can't. There's no way the game will be ready in 2 weeks, it's so messed up at the moment. I haven't been able to even log in for 3 days now, and the 1 day I was able to, I couldn't get anything done because of the laggy crashing which was a constant mess.

It's a shame, really. The game itself is really good, but the technical issues are really slowing the production AND the testing way down...

who knows i hope it opens this month it probably wont though from what i hear with the bugs and crashes. I don't have a beta key and have waited over 1 or 2 months now lol oh well.

Yes, it doesn't look like it will be open anytime soon. So much in the game is still unfinished (VooDoo, anyone?).

I really hope they can finish it off soon so everyone can play!

yes that would be nice but don't give your hopes up lol all the bugs i guess will keep it closed for a while but if they fix it and make it better its worth the waitlol

Well, I don't know if this is right and it is just a guess but, on the POTCO website it says May 2007 "with the launch date approaching soon." So, since the POTC movie is coming out on the 25th, maybe it will come out then?

Yes i agree, its still bug city in there, they are patching regulary and whole thing is getting more stable. They are probs working flat out on it.

But the amount of bugs that still remain are many, and each new patch seems to bring a new bug that seemed to be ok b4.

So don't be surprised is theres another rethink on release date.

Not quite. Read the previous post above yours. Some beta testers are getting an email from disney saying it is weeks away from launching the game. So we can forget about the game launching the same day or before the movie.

Warioguy, the disney magazine you read could have been correct in it's date, back then. I also read in news articles that the game would be released along with the movie. But it could very well be that disney is pushing back the launch date, to work on the game some more.

So maybe they had a set date months back and have changed it since.

Anywho, the game has come a long way since last month. (Or even the month before :eek:). I am thinking they might just reach a stable release soon. :)

I got that Email 2 weeks ago so I still have a strong feelling about it! :D

well ill keep me eyes open i'm not a beta tester im mad about that but oh well LOL if i make day 1 ill be fine LOL i don't usually get on day 1 something goes wrong with game so i dont LOL
