How do I start a poll?

I was following the instructions at

http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...ead.php?p=3231

but it seems that my poll thread is now always deleted before I can post the poll options?

Do I just need to be faster getting the poll options in, or is it a new feature that you can't add the poll items anymore?

All threads in polls and surveys are moderated. If you are creating a thread there with the intention of having a poll attached, its best to create the poll with the thread rather than creating the thread and adding a poll later. New threads that dont appear to fit in that forum may be moved to a more appropriate forum or deleted in queue. Also, not all polls are approved, even if they seem to follow all forums rules. It's a matter of both quality and quantity; new polls will appear on our front page so we are a bit selective there.

Hope that helps :)

That's exactly what I was trying to do, but is impossible to do. So I was following the instructions instead. :-)
