To get to Pirate trivia, you will need to join our IRC chatroom first. The easiest way to do this is to go to the homepage of the site, and scroll down until you see this...

http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/g...500/Trivia.png

...when you find that, simply enter your nickname (If you're playing trivia, then preferably the nick that you use on the site) and click "Chat Now" [Note: If you hit the enter key as a shortcut to clicking the button, it will only redirect you to the homepage]

You will probably start out in #piratesonlineforums, which is the general chatroom for the site. Below where you type text, there will be 4 tabs. One should say #piratetrivia, click that one and you'll be ready to play!

Also, a few commands you may use in the channels.
/me - typing /me before text will make an action.
Example:
Typed: /me eats a cookie
Shown: *MemberName eats a cookie
!trivia - typing !trivia in a trivia channel will let you start playing trivia.
!choose - typing !choose in a trivia channel when trivia is turned off will let you choose to play either POTC or Disney Trivia. POTC trivia is primarily about the movie, games, and ride. Disney trivia is general knowledge about disney history, parks, movies, and more.

If you would ever like trivia stopped to change categories, just inform a member with an @ beside their name and they will stop it for you.

The option requires Java support to run the IRC chat client.

If your system is set to not run these applications, or you do not grant them permission, they will not load properly.
