Do all the pirates on POTCO turn to skeletons on Halloween? Jack Stormhawk told me that Maxmivs or some other person said we would. I would like an answer to the question at least before October 31rst, so I can at least get excited or anxious. Thank if you commented on this thread! :batmoon:

I can't wait for it either.

But no, it isn't PVP.(they made sure it wouldn't be PVP so the new players wouldn't have to deal with high level players being rude by swinging their cutlasses at them anytime they get the chance.)

If you're inside it doesn't effect you.

And if you're at sea you're unaffected. But if you're outside on land you become undead.

I don't think anyone is sure about exactly how we'll look. My pure guess is that it will be different than PvP, but I just have a feeling...nothing concrete to back that up. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Clues to the Jolly Rogers curse were given to us when the GMs visited the game. Many of the details are unknown and all pirates are a we bit nervous about the impending curse that be upon us.

Thar be rumored items that ye may have that Jolly Roger is obessessed to be a getting, so watch yer backs on Hallows eve mateys...

Maybe there will be special skeletons running around and turning pirates into skeletons!Maybe if we're turned into a skeleton we will turn into a skeleton with the same level as us,for example,if you're level 9,you would turn into an Undead Witchdoctor,or if you're on Cutthroat Isle,and you're level 26,you would turn into a Spanish Undead Captain!Another possibility is when you're turned into a skeleton,you get to choose what skeleton you want to turn in to,or else choose parts of an Undead skeleton to put on,like when you first create your character,so then I could be half-Undead Conquestadore and half-Undead Pirate.

I've been thinking about this some more. Usually the days/nights cycle fairly quickly on the game. Is it possible that at a given time on Halloween the game will got into night mode for an extended period of time?

I believe, based on the GMs' clues, that anytime you step outside of a building you will instantly become undead. But since they stressed pirates banding together, I really don't think it's going to be like a PvP free-for-all. Of course they were playing it close to the vest, so I could have misinterperated their meaning.

I just hope, at the very least, that they've fixed the lag issues by then.

I hope that they assign completely random costumes to all the pirates. Could you imaging pirates in Mickey Mouse, Shrek, Little Mermaid, etc., costumes running around....That would be hilarious!!! Sign on...and BAM!! You're Puss in Boots!!!!

I only can say I would dread the thought of this with no testing and slammed into game.

With recent events lately, I will take some guesses.

Siege bomb degraded to a pinata. Cannon will shoot pumpkins. Ships will become rubber duckies. Pistols shoot gum balls. Doll the one that gets a costume. Staff grows bristles and flies off, hit f6 and ejection from game. Thrown daggers turn into tweety birds. Cutlass will stun you for 20 seconds if you draw it, to sheath itself, and draw again for a possible 39 second stun.

Skellies will have triple back stab damage. Soldiers skip stun, and just auto knock you down for 10 seconds (never miss). Molusk, Brinescum, Gypsy, will auto hex you draining your full power. The Kraken will make a appearance, (in the fountain at port royal), all two inches of em.


Oh wait, everybody send these ideas into Disney, that way this won't happen for sure.
