I would remove the Router from the equation... it sounds like its blocking something for verification. Once you can confirm if the router is / is not the issue then you can continue on with the comp...

I'm not too good with technical stuff but often times that happens to me. And its usually the router thats giving me the problem.

Are you and your friend able to access the Account by going to the original game website at Disney.com?. If you are able to do so, then try reset your password and try to log in using the launcher.
Hope that works out.

I can verify that its NOT the router.. it is the computer..
We tried to install the game on another computer in the house, that we usualy arnt alowed to use, but we got permission to test the game on that comp.
And it worked!! Both computers go through the same router (obviosly).

The problems started after he changed the motherboard and CPU in the computer.
The game worked with the old motherboard and CPU. And yes, he made a new install of the game, since he formated the HDD.

Usually when it says There was a problem verifying the account ID that means youre just not connected to the internet. All I can reccomend is this:

>>start menu
>>control panel
>>internet options
>>Local area connection
(if you are using a laptop, then do this) >> Wireless area connection
>>Find the thing there where you can repair, and it will try to fix any problems for you

Although typically not an issue seen across multiple systems, you may also want to check the "system date/time". If something has thrown the date way off, it will respond similarly.

How can he NOT be connected to the internet, when he plays other online games, and surfing the net?
But I might try it.

I had low hop about this, but when I noticed that the computers time was put on 2009, I got hope back.. I set the time correct, and my hopes were shattered again, since it didnt help.. :(

I did tell him that he should get a new computer, and he reminded me that it basicly was that, since it has new motherboard and CPU.. .. .. ..

Too bad.. hmm

My next best recommendation would be to make sure that all the updates for Internet Explorer and Windows are downloaded, including any security certificate updates that may be available. (if there are any of course)

Or the issue might be related to ActiveX Component.

Do the following to clear any corrupted components which reside in some cookies:

1) Delete the entire Pirates Of the Caribbean game using "add/remove" program from control panel.

2) Open Internet Explorer
-Select "tools"
-Internet Options
-Delete all browsing history (including cookies, temp internet files, history)

3) Download game (notice that when you download the game, it will still loading some files even if the launcher is ready for you to log in...you can view this in the upper left hand corner of installer..do no login until all corresponding game components are fully installed, otherwise might corrupt it).

Hope the troubleshooting works out. Post your results, regardless of the outcome so that we can track or investigate further if the problem continues. Please give the following info:

Operating System:
Processor type:
Video Card type:
Internet Type (DLS/CABLE, FIOS, T1-3):

3 reasons why you would be getting this error.
  1. On a wireless connection
  2. Date and time are not correct
  3. signing in with the wrong information
