Dig Spots on Driftwood Island???
 

I am working on my clothing quest from Tortuga and I am with John Smith on driftwood island and he wants me to dig up some personal effects from a buried treasure chest. I have no idea where this dig spot is..I have looked all over this island, Can anyone please please help me? Any screen shots or descriptions would be much appreciated.

Just past John Smith towards his ship is a dig spot right there on the beach. If it doesn't work the first time walk away for 30 seconds or so and then come back.

stay there and dig on the same spot over and over.

Yes, once you find a dig spot that works, just wait for it to re-set and keep diggin it.

Here is where I found mine, in case anyone is looking... It's just up on the hill past bronze john. Also, the above trick helps... if at first you dont succeed, try the same spot again.
