Cuba

On the wiki it talkes about Cuba being a major ship building center for Spain, but in game the only enemies are animals and plants. Where did this information come from? Will there be some kind of update to add Havahna to the island?

Interesting, much of this information was taken directly from the players guide on the official site, however I cannot find any mention of the 2nd part which mentions Havana, the shipbuilding, etc. (although I concur it is in the DOW wiki). This information was placed in that section from day 1.

This may have been a clue to some of the Devs original expansion ideas, however perhaps they have changed thier path, and removed this information when they added the newer islands in the last several months.

I will remove that portion from the Cuba section of the wiki for now, since is source is unknown.

You may want to keep record of it somehow, just for keeping record's sake.

maybe its the embargo?

Cuba should be alot bigger in relation to Tortuga and Prot Royal. Port Royal is in Jamaica and Tortuga is a tiny island off the coast of the modern Dominican Republic and Haiti (they're on the same island). Back then the island was called Hispaniola, but Tortuga was a separate island.

Well it wont help anyone if the information is unconfirmable (particularly source wise). Its been removed now.

Should it prove to be appropriate, it can easily be recovered. The wiki tracks all entries/changes :)
