Last time I'll ask.

When does Pirates of the Caribbean Online come out?! They said it was coming out with the movie's release (which was awesome by the way) and now I just really want to know when it comes out. Please, doesn't anyone have an answer?

NONE of us know the real answer. We have heard though that the Pirates Crew will be announcing a official release date soon on piratesonline.com

Are you positive about that? Sometime in the next four days?

Well, Fileplanet has removed their Beta Key subscriber thing, so im not sure about 4 days but it SHOULD be coming out soon.. :)

He's slightly off, it will come out anytime in the next five days. I recently made a thread on the news for this site which quote a small part of an article in the New York Times that gave a quick mention to Pirates of the Carribean Online, and stated that it would come out in May. Since today is May 26nd, and the last day of May is the 31st, there are five more days of May, hence five days for the game to come out.

Hmm, i very much doubt that....

It's not ready, they need a miracle to turn it around in 4 days.

I would say more like another 4 weeks, not days, and even thats gonna require a lot of work.

They seem to have made the game as high end as what ever it would take on super computers, and now they are working backwards to see if they can make it work for us...

The last update chopped the graphics back as low as they could go, and set that on auto- many testers couldn't load the game anymore.

Now when ever an enemy is anywhere near you, they track you in the game... On land, a lot have been turned off... At sea you know you are being tracked because no other info is being sent, your screen just freezes...

Then there is ships that just sail through town and run you over.

With just that part of the game being too much for the server, they still have to make the chat work, sending all that info...

One good thing is the download is only 1/4 what Toon Town is.... so far

Remember ppl, if there are bugs still on the game, bad ones mostly, then they wont release it on the due time, if they do, ppl might get a bad idea about the game....

shall we take bets then,, lets get a pool going.. in all the games and expansions I have beta tested incudeing WOW and SWG and Matrix. I feel they are about 2 to 3 months off.. depending on how quick they get builds out.. but it still seems like the hardware Disney is trying to use is not good enough for the volume they expected to play this game.. its like trying to run WOW on a little MAC it aint going to happen.. I did notice though after the last build the frount end lag was much better but I am still getting like 3FPS with all shadows and details turned off.. its nuts.. I mean I am running a Dual X2 board with SLI grpahics an 4gb of RAM so i no its not the client software.. its g0tta be the servers. oh well I am sure it will get very interesting over the next few weeks
