What happens to hector barbosa
 

i recently got unlimted and after doing a week of playing i have noticed there is no quest or mention of hector barbosa, does he come up again or does he only introduce u to the pistol. he is my fav charater along with amand the corsair ( purelt for the fact he is a muslim, if a bad one) so is that all of hector barbossa and good old jack the monk:sadmh9:ey

Barbossa only does a few things, aye-he introcuces the pistol. He also gives you some treasures(useless)
Sorry to say, Barbossa doesnt do much in the game :(

Additionally, he plays a role in the "Gunner" portion of the story quest, when ye need to get some of his precious rum (Barbossa's that is).

And the Barbossa clothing quest - although that is somewhat limited (unless you consider the homage of looking like him).

He is in the beginnign quest to get the pistol, he is in the Gunner bart of the Black Pearl Quest where you need his special rum, he is in the clothing quest for Padres and he introduces you to the rhineworth rings treasue collection.

NONE of the Movie characters have enough involvement.

Yes true its not that much movie like either

well, the guy that tells you who to recruit for the Black Pearl quest was in the movie and he has semi-major involvement, but he was only a minor character in the movie.

Scarlet also has a good bit of involvement, but she is a VERY minor character, I think.

None of the MAJOR characters have much involvement.

You do visit Hector more than you may realize... but there are LOT of POTCO characters they could exploit. Folks talk about Davy Jones appearing soon. And Governor Swann's absence is mentioned (the game is set BEFORE he dies).

But, how about Annamarie, Pintell, Ragetti, Norrington, Gilette, Beckett, Beckett's main Black Guard guy, Mr. Cotton and his parrot, Marty, and so on...

well, beckett IS in potco, albeit in speach ;)

Well I know they use Pintell and Ragetti for POTCO promo's. I've seen a few videos with them.
It seems to me that they replaced the crew of the black pearl for some reason or another.
It may be that they dont have licensing for the likenesses of all these individuals (the stars themselves) as far as video game production is concerned.

doesn't seem that devs usually would create a model just for a few seconds do you have a linky to the video it might lead to weather they might be used again possibly story chapter 2

He does need to be added more and I hear he will but sailing all the way to devils anvil doesn't sound much like fun, aye?
