whats the best kind of ship?

No doubt, War Frigate! :D

Best hull, best broadsides, best everything!

War frigate... by far.

a) It's far faster than the War Galleon.
b) It's stronger.
c) It's great for if you have large crews.
d) It's also great if you're sailing alone, as I do frequently, due to the many cannons there are, & so close to the steering wheel, you can sink a Behomoth single handedly in a War Frigate in no time.
e) The front cannons are great.
f) The broadsides are more powerful.
g) More manoeuvrable.
Not to mention the fact that (other than the light sloop) it owns the SvS field. =]

I used to like the War Galleon best, but really, after getting a war frigate, I've found the only benefit it has to having a frigate is the amount of plunder you can have.

The few reasons of previous posters, I still love the War Galleon.

Best broadsides, holds the most plunder, and looks much more majestic as well.

A beautiful ship indeed.

SvS is something to be avoided at all costs, you either gotta cheat or spend all your time in it, BLAH.

It's a tie for me between the war sloop and war frigate.

The war sloop's great in SvS very fast and easy to turn away from yer opponent, but can't beat the war frigate in regular sailing, great for helping those in need of cannon rep.

The war galleon is great too but takes too long to turn IMO.

I think War Frigate. It's the only thing I sail in... when I'm not basic...

War Frigates, I think, have the most powerful ram, then follow that up with open fire, and you have yourself a counter for Light Sloops if your the type of SvS person.

I think its a matter of opinion...im in between ships right now...but id say war frig

I'm the only one as of yet to name the Light Sloop.

A, it's free at first. Big plus there. B, you can sail it when basic, and when basic, it will be the most helpful of two possible ships. C, you can buy a couple million with the money you'd use for another ship.

It is ultimately a ship of little consequence, and ultimately thus the ultimate ship, as all others are ships of greater consequence ultimately, and thus ultimately they are lesser ships. Such logic doesn't even bring into account all the perks of the ship itself aside from the cost, and doesn't even bring up all the non-existant negatives.

That being said, everyone should have a light sloop! (No, seriously, if you aren't going to be unlimited forever, you want this.)

Um... some people have said war frigate has the best broadsides, no It doesn't the war GALLEON does, besides that I voted War Frigate(on my own poll)

Give me my War Galleon...I do alot of sailing alone...more room for cargo and I believe it is stronger. the War frigate is faster but I feel only needed if ya have a big crew. As for SVS.(egads) if I'm not freezing up or getting booted...the War sloop seems to prevail
