Secret Meetings
Devils Anvil, such a desolate piece of rock. Why Barbossa would hole up there is beyond me.
I am to meet up with the head wench of our Lordship this day. She is willing to finance the mutiny that the wenches and I have planned. Tis a good day to have this secret meeting for one of the wenches known as Breezy has hexed the Lordship's ship and he is unable to set sail. It has frustrated our Lordship to no end for he cannot understand why he cannot take to the sea. As I pace up and down the docks of Port Royal waiting for the sun to set I grow inpatient as each minute passes. My twin, Amelia, says I have a restless soul and to this I agree. Amelia wanted to come but I fear it is far too dangerous in what I am about to do. The other wenches understand as well. They will keep his Lordship busy as I take sail on this moonless, dark night. Oh, will the night ever come I wonder as I watch the sun set upon the sea. I fear this Meghan Plunderette will not wait much longer for me if I do not set sail soon. But I have to be careful in what I do. One terrible mistake on my part will undo us all. Aye, there are many lives at stake here....Roxy, Baylona, the little lass Molly, Breezy, and lastly my beloved twin, Amelia. Everything must come down perfectly for the Lord's wrath is great! He has grown more arrogant these past few weeks. He is getting just a little too high and mighty as he struts up and down the shores of Padres Del Fuego. He says he is looking for fresh wenches. Ooh, he just infuriates me so. I would love to run him through with my cutlass. But Amelia says the Lord would give me a taste of the cat. Finally, it is time to set sail to meet this Meghan Plunderette. I pray this isn't a ruse. Baylona has stolen the Lordship's ship....again! She loves to sail the seven seas but I am afraid if she continues to do so our Lord and Master will soon find out what she has been doing and do away with her. For now, Breezy, has made it to where I can sail without the curse and I set my sights on Devils Anvil with vengenance in my heart. The Sea Goddess rises within me as I feel the cool sea breeze blow thru my hair and smell the sweetness of the sea. I hear the waves slapping across the hull of the Dark Water Dragon as I bear down upon Devils Anvil. I soon spy a distant light on the shores of Devils Anvil. I pray it is this Meghan Plunderette, the wife of our Master, the scourge of the seven seas. Eventually, I drop anchor in the choppy sea and as I lower the dinghy to the dark waters below I notice a lone sloop off to the side of the Dark Water Dragon. Seems so small in comparison to our Lord and Master's ship but size matters not it is the captain of the ship that matters most. I lower myself down into the dinghy and proceeded to row to shore toward the welcoming light I spied earlier. I am most thankful I brought my double barrel pistol and cutlass for this island is filled with vicious crabs and scorpions. I will come ashore just a little further down from the light. I must be sure this is the Master's wife first and as well to see this isn't some piece of trickery on the Lord's part. Finally, I come upon the shoreline. I jump out of the dinghy and into the water to pull it upon the shore. Thank goodness I wore my high boots for the sea is cold this night. I take a deep breath as I pull my pistol from my belt and start toward the nearest rock to hide behind. I must watch for awhile just to be sure. I will only use my pistol as a last resort for I do not want to draw attention to myself just yet. Maybe I better use my cutlass for now. I placed pistol back into my belt and drew my cutlass from my side. As I neared the rock a couple of crabs proceeded to attack me. I took them down swiftly and quietly. As I knelt behind the rock and looked to the fire I soon spied the lone female sitting and eating. As I watched her I realized how beautiful she was with her red hair glowing in the fire light. She soon stood and began to pace about the small area. She seemed to be anxious or perhaps fearful of what was about to become the most mutinous of all mutinies. Aye, but can I trust her is the question. As eager as I was to begin this meeting I held back to watch a little longer. Patience is a virtue my twin always says! That is the one thing that I have little of I am afraid. My Lord and Master says that I am too bold and have a viper's tongue to boot! But we shall see, oh, Lord and Master, the scourge of the seven seas. We shall just see. Once I see the coast is clear I shall approach this Meghan Plunderette and the plan shall begin to bring this bilge water rat down to his knees for once and for all. But for now I shall just wait and watch. *This is just a series I started last year in my first guild. If anyone wants to hear the rest I will continue to add more to the storyline. Thanks. Bravo......now you have me thinking about how cold the water is going to be tonight. Oh well, not for me to worry...only those that be walkin' me plank to the deep, dark cold depths of the uncharted waters....hehehehe

From Meghan Plunderette:
Feet squished into the sand, as she paced for several moments longer. A glint of light. Pause, movements not curious so much as ...cautionary. She felt her breath catch in her throat as the seconds seemed to feel like hours. Brown-amber eyes focusing throught the darkness on...what is it? Tension, slamming through her body as she took on step towards where the glint of steel that had caught the firelight for . . . just a moment. Eyes continued to search, seeking . . . seeking what? Was she here? Or had her Lord somehow heard about this and sent someone to thwart her plans? What of the children? A thousand questions without answers went screaming through her mind as her own fingers went groping for a small, unimpressive dagger. More suited for cutting meat than . . . well cutting anyone or using to defend oneself. Another step, and then another. "Hello? Whose there?" Slow your breathing Meg . . . slow it down. This isn't the end of things . . . just the beginning of new arrangements. He couldn't have found out. There's no way. She stopped her footfalls all the while muttering . . . "Probably one of those darn crabs again." a sigh . . . she hadn't stopped to think that the roasting corpses would bring the fellows still living nearer . . . should have thought that one through a little more, eh? |
From Kani:
As I knelt behind the rock watching and waiting for the right moment this Meghan Plunderette began to pace around the fire. Back and forth kicking up the sand with her bare feet as she went. She seemed to be nervous or was she just inpatient?
As I was pondering those thoughts I heard a sound behind me. I had been so deep in thought that I never saw or heard a giant crab come up behind me. I leaped up suddenly and scrambled over the rock and pulled my cutlass from my side. It continued to make its way to me as I backed up to give it some room. I despise these vile creatures! Without thinking I swung my cutlass swiftly over my head and took the despicable creature down quickly. As I pulled my cutlass from its body I saw a glint of light glance off the steel blade. I suddenly realized as I turned that I had gotten too far from the deep darkness that had hid me so well. I quickly stepped back into it and as I did I noticed the lone female had stopped pacing about the sandy beach. She seemed frozen with fear as she looked towards the darkness to where I still stood. I heard the sharp intake of her breath as she took a step forward. She called out to the darkness to where I stood, "Hello?" with a tremor in her voice. She took another step then another . . ."Who's there?" with a little more conviction in her voice this time. Still undecided on what to do I watched as she turned quickly on her heels and walked back to the light of the fire all the while muttering under her breath as she went. Can I trust her? How far is she willing to go with this venture? These thoughts kept me on edge and undecided. I chuckled to myself as I hear her call out a challenge to show myself or else! She is either very foolish or very brave! Aye it is time to see what this wench is made of. As I walked toward the light of the fire I thought of all the lives that were involved in this plot and it put a heavy burden upon my heart. Then . . . the flashes of memories of how this Lord and Master has treated us wenches came flooding thru and overtook those thoughts. Vengenance grew stronger and stronger with each step I took until I finally stepped into the light with cutlass in hand. Hell hath no fury like mine when the Sea Goddess has been scorned and she has been scorned way too many times by his Lordship's arrogance and his lust for fresh wenches! It is time . . . time for the mutiny to begin. |
Let the battle commence!!!! :bookishfj7:

Jane (the Lord and Master's sister)
As I sit behind a rock and watch as these two traitorous wenches about to meet each other and devise a plan to take down the Lord and Master but more importantly, my brother. I can't help but wonder why? Why would they do this to John? He is more than a Master to me, he is my brother and I have known him all my life. My brother would love to know about these plans they have, yet they do not realize they shall never succeed in this plot! For I am the sister of the Master and his traitorous wife and first officer shall get what they deserve!
I hear Meg call out, "Who's there?" I hope they have not spotted me! I know I shall die and be lost to the sea forever if I am found. I watch as Kani kills a giant crab. She is good with the cutlass and I think of how she would also kill me just as swiftly if she knew what I was about to do. I move in a little closer, I see glints of light here and there as they move in closer to one another. They are prepared to take on anyone that threatens this mutiny they are planning against my brother. A part of me can't help but wonder. . . should I join them or should I go now and tell John of this secret meeting? I decide to lie in wait a while longer and see how this meeting progresses. I know the Lord and Master has decided he is King of the Sea and no one can match his knowledge nor experience but he is mistaken. For there are plenty more that have seen and done more then he. I fear that if he continues with this arrogant attitude of his much longer, everyone shall be after him and not just the wenches! |
Meghan Plunderette
Steel . . . the glint of cold steel sat just outside of my peripheral vision.
I froze . . . it wasn't one of those accursed crabs . . . but something else . . . someone else! My mind forgot about the roasting crab wrapped in wet leaves entirely. The feel of the sand scratching against my feet as I moved for cover and called into the darkness . . . "Who's there? I'm armed . . . I'm not afraid of you." Maybe a little, but then . . . we never know who will try to cheat us out of who these days do we? The king's men are thiefs . . . the pirates are thiefs . . . the world is full of stealing cutthroats all wielding different titles . . . one can never be too careful. Was it one or two . . . her attention seemed broken. She hissed into the air, "Traitors and fiends . . . or friends . . . show yourself so we may cross steel or words!" |
John...the Lord and Master
Inside a tavern on Tortuga sits a man surrounded by several scantily clad women. He is a young man but is old of mind. His eyes are set deep with thought and dark they be. He sits in this tavern knowing what is about to transpire against him and he knows the plan he has had from the beginning will finally be set in motion. His crew is a fine bunch of lads and lasses but are becoming too secretive for his liking. And now the hammer of his wrath must fall!

To Davil
Hey thanks that means a lot to me. This series started in my first guild on our website between me and the GM's wife then his sister and John jumped in on it so that is why I am posting it with their names. Give credit where credit is due, lol!
It all started when the GM actually couldn't board a ship period for almost two weeks due to a glitch in the game program and I made a joke that a few us wenches had put a curse on it, lol! Hence the series was born. The last story above is actually the last before the guild fell apart but I am continuing the series on my own. I have two in the wings ready to be posted which will be soon. And also I wrote a couple of other stories on some our escapades on the game for our website which had nothing to do with the series and I may post those at a later time. Thanks again! I stood there in the light of the fire and watched this Meghan Plunderette come to a halt as soon as she spotted me. With a dagger in hand she looked ready to take on an army! I chuckled to myself that aye, this wench does have the nerve to take down the master if she is willing to take on me!
As I began to slowly walk around the fire to her I saw Meghan back up switching the dagger from one hand to the other and back again. "Do you plan on using that on me?" I asked. "I don't know . . . are you friend, thief, or foe?" she answered back warily. "I am known as Kani to some and to others The Sea Goddess. I am not a thief that is for sure so that leaves friend or foe." "Well? Which are you then?" she responded back with less trepidation in her voice. "Hmmm . . . I guess that depends on one thing." I stated as I grasped my cutlass a little tighter. "And that is?" she asked. "If that is your friend out there hiding in the darkness." I said. "What? Where? Who?" she quickly asked as her eyes scanned the darkness outside the perimeter of the fire. "So you know not who that is out there hiding like a coward?" I asked of her. "No! Of course not! Why would I?" she quickly snapped back. I eyed her warily as I drew closer to her. I don't trust easily and I never let my guard down. This may explain why I have very few friends in this life. The Lord and Master says that is part of the problem with me aside from my quick viper's tongue and that is I don't let anyone in. Aye, that may be true but I was once betrayed by three people who I considered to be my friends. Those three tried to take me out of the pirate's guild where I was once second in command. And because of that act of betrayal I was forced to serve my Lord and Master, John Goldsmythe. |

"I don't like surprises....so show yourself! Because you will not like what I do if I have to hunt you down!" I said as I called out to the darkness.
I began wondering if this was such a good idea. Now I have two to watch and neither one has earned my trust yet. I don't give that out easily...you have to earn it. I have been burned one too many times. At that moment I heard the whistling of the dagger as it flew past me and then I heard Meghan cry out, "Behind you!". I spun around with my cutlass at the ready and saw a female with a scarf tied around her head. The dagger landed between her feet and I heard the sharp intake of her breath at how close the dagger had came. She looked up at me with eyes widened in surprise. "Who are you and why do you skulk about in the darkness?" I asked. I heard Meghan as she walked to stand at my side, "I know who she is! She is my husband's sister! Probably spying on me as she always does!" I turned to look at Meghan and said, "You came here to meet me knowing that you have a spy in your midst?". "Well, I thought I had lost her at the docks. I promise you I did not know Jane would go this far!" Meghan pleaded. "Well, you didn't lose her at the docks and she has come this far! Now what am I supposed to do with her?" I asked Meghan quite sarcastically. "Oh, I know what I would like to do to her!" Meghan retorted as her eyes narrowed while looking at Jane. My eyes looked to the heavens above and I just shook my head. "Both of you....now....go sit by the fire so I can think this through!" I ordered. Jane and Meghan went to the fire to sit and watched me warily as I began to pace on the opposite side. I cannot believe the situation I have gotten myself into now. I not only have the Master's wife....I now have his sister! If he didn't want my head before....he will now! |

** Quick note: Sorry for the delay but we had a horrible ice storm that devastated
my town. But I can continue with the stories again. ** Why do I always seem to get myself in these predicaments? I thought as I paced back and forth in front of the two troublesome wenches. It was bad enough to be in league with the Lord and Master's wife but now his sister has stumbled into the plot and that is a complication that I hadn't counted on. John has always said that I had a knack for attracting dangerous elements but, geez, what a mess I have landed into now! I stopped suddenly in front of the two exasperating females and asked, "Okay, first off! You! The sister-in-law! What is your name and what are you doing here?" I demanded. "Um, uh, my name is Jane and as far as what I am doing here? Well, it is like this you see, uh, Meghan has been acting rather strange of late and I knew she was up to something so I followed her." Jane said rather meekly. "No, what you were doing was spying on me as usual and just be being plain nosy is what you were doing!" Meghan retorted back. "I was not being nosy!" Jane said. "Well, now that we know you were spying for the most part but my question is this . . . why?" I asked of Jane. "I wanted to know what was going on okay? She has been sneaking around lately and I just thought maybe just maybe she was cheating on my brother is all!" Jane declared. "Me? Cheating? You are worried about me cheating? Are you insane? My husband, your brother mind you, runs through wenches like there is no tormorrow on a daily basis and you are worried about me cheating?" Meghan exclaimed. Jane dropped her gaze to the sand looking rather forlornly. For a moment I felt nothing but sorrow for her because it was rather obvious she looked up to Meghan. No, no, no! I cannot let my emotions control me! I cannot get involved like this! I let my heart rule me once but never again! "Alright Jane I have to figure out what am I going to do with you. I cannot let you go. Do you understand?" I asked of Jane as I bent over to retrieve the dagger from the sand that Meghan had thrown. Jane's eyes widened as she watched me rather alarmingly. It rather amused me to know that she was afraid of what I might do to her. Jane suddenly started scrambling to her feet to flee but I was was much quicker than she thought and had the tip of my cutlass at her throat before she realized what was happening. "Going somewhere lass?" I asked. "Kani! Don't! Please!" Meghan begged of me. I glared at Meghan for revealing my identity. Now I didn't have a choice but to be rid of Jane. A drop of blood appeared on Jane's throat as I pressed the blade a little further in that I had anticipated. I heard Jane's gasp of pain as I pressed harder. "Kani! Please, I am begging you! I can handle Jane I promise!" Meghan pleaded. "Why should I? If I were to let her go she will run back to the Lord and Master, her brother and reveal all!" I spat back. "She knows nothing Kani! We can just forget this whole thing alright? We will all just back away and go about our merry way! I swear by all that is holy Jane will not say a word to John!" Meghan said. So many thoughts raced through my mind as I contemplated what Meghan had said. So many lives were at stake on this venture. If one word of this leaked out mine and the others would be in the press gang and never be heard of again. "I have some information that may be useful." Jane declared. "And that is?" I asked of her. "If you would just back the blade off a bit I will tell you alright?" Jane asked. I eyed her warily but I did pull the blade back and waited. Jane let out a sigh of relief and said, "Look, I have some idea of what you two are up to ok? But you should know that John knows more than you think." Mine and Meghan's eyes widened in surprise as we looked at Jane. I shook my head and said, "What? John knows nothing I tell you, nothing!" Jane looked at us both and sighed, "It is like this . . . I overheard John one night talking to someone in the crew. I don't know who so don't ask. I was hiding under John's desk so all I could see was their boots but I overheard this man tell John that he had some more information to pass on if he would be willing to pass over a little silver for it." "What did the man say?" I asked of Jane. "He said there was talk of a mutiny amongst the crew. And that one in particular, a wench, was head of the uprising! And that same wench was being financed rather highly to pursue said venture!" Jane said. My heart by this time had leapt to my throat and I suddenly was at a loss for words for once in my life but Jane pressed on with her story. "My brother demanded to know how he came about said information. He even declared that it couldn't be true and accused the man of lying to get more silver! I thought John was going to kill him, I really did!" Jane said rather beseechingly. "But the man insisted upon the silver before revealing any further information. Then John demanded that the man leave before he made him walk the plank!" "Then what happened?" Meghan asked. "Well, after the man left, John came back into the study and stood there for a bit then he told me come out from under the desk. Apparently, I didn't hide well enough!" Jane said rather sarcastically. I rolled my eyes up at Meghan and asked Jane to go on with her story. "I asked how he knew I was there and he said he heard my sharp intake of breath during the man's story. Anyhow, I could tell what little information that the man passed on had upset John so I asked who was it that the man was talking about. John said there could only be one wench gutsy enough to try something like this!" Jane turned to face me and said, "He said there was only one! Just one who could pull something like this off and the look of betrayal on his face, Kani, was something I know I don't want to see again!". http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...ine=1232734754 |
Finally i got some answers from these last two posts! Keep up the good stories!

Meghan turned to look at me with her eyes widened in surprise while I continued to look at Jane.
"Omg! What are we going to do? He knows I tell you he knows!" Meghan gasped. I calmly sheathed my cutlass and handed Meghan her dagger not saying a word. They both looked at each other then back to me. "Kani! What are we going to do?" Meghan asked. "We are going to do nothing! You and Jane are going back home to your lives as if nothing has happened!" I stated. Jane stepped forward and put her hand on my arm and asked, "But Kani what are you going to do now that he knows about you?" "Me?" I shrugged my shoulders and said, "I am going to go do what I do best." "And that is?" Jane asked. "Well, first I am going to find the one that betrayed me then I am going to make sure that my sister is far, far away from here as possible. After that?" I shrugged and said, "I haven't figured that part out yet." I turned to walk away but Jane stepped in front of me and said, "Kani! You cannot do this alone! My brother will be coming after you and he will have you swinging from the nearest yardarm!" "What will be will be. This has already been set in motion and even I cannot stop it!" I stated. "Kani, I can help you find the betrayer." Jane said. "I think you best stay out of this or else your brother will think you and Meghan both have betrayed him. So please you and Meghan go back home" I said. "Okay this is the deal. Just listen for a moment please Kani" Jane pleaded. I nodded and she continued on, "I will help you find the one came to my brother okay? I know his voice and I definitely will know those boots but after that you are on your own okay?" "Why are you helping me?" I asked curiously. "I am about to kill your brother!" "While I know this makes no sense but I want the betrayer as much as you. And yes, I know you want my brother's head on a platter and probably for good reason but I do want to help you find the one that has betrayed you. I don't know why but I like you and I think we can turn this around if you will let me." Jane stated. "You are willing to help me knowing all the while that I am about to take your brother down. So the question still remains . . . why?" I asked. "I love my brother but he has changed over these past couple of years. I don't know what has happened to make him so but I want to know what took place to change him. Make that I have to know what happened to him." Jane stated. "Okay you can come with me but Meghan goes back and I will give no quarter on that missy so don't even try to debate it! You have children to protect." I stated firmly. "But we had an agreement!" Meghan stated. "And I am a pirate and a free spirit to boot so I do as I please when I please! So go back home and pretend nothing has happened. If he asks for Jane? Tell him she is on holiday alright?" I said. Meghan nodded yes and asked "But will you keep me informed please? I will worry about you both." "Jane will thru missives so that way John will not be suspicious." I said. "But you will need gold for this venture and I am sticking to my side of the agreement whether you like it or not. So please let me at least help you with that!" Meghan said. She reached down into her pocket and pulled out a few gold coins and passed them to me and pleaded, "God be with you Kani! And you too Jane! God speed and be safe!" I nodded and turned to Jane and asked, "You ready? My ship is just over there." Jane and I crossed the sandy beach and boarded the dinghy. As we rowed toward the ship my mind was racing with all that had transpired in the last hour or so. Jane's remark about the Lord and Master John's change in demeanor had me puzzled. Two years she said . . . that is when I came into his servitude. What changed him and why I wondered. http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...ine=1232734754 |
