Well I was on earlier for 2 of the Curses, and there was no curse so I went to the chat help and this is how it went. Enjoy.

ROBERT: hello where is the curse
IAN:Jolly Roger's curse will be happening on every server, at the times posted at the top of the PiratesOnline web site: http://apps.pirates.go.com/pirates/v...rrentnews.html
ROBERT: I was there and nothing happened at them times
ROBERT:twice now
ROBERT: you still there

IAN:Were you outdoors? The curse doesn't apply to those Pirates who are indoors or sailing at the time it happens.
ROBERT: yes I was outdoors, I was on the beach of tortuga with about 20 other people, and I heard from a lot of people from different servers that nothing happend there either
ROBERT:so what happened
IAN:I'm sorry about that wait. Could I ask you to submit a bug report with your log files, so that I can escalate this problem to our engineers?
ROBERT: why would it be in the bug report, its not happening to a lot of people, do you guys not watch the servers
IAN:The bug report will have information about the server you were on that our engineers will want from the escalation.
ROBERT: ok, I will send one in.
IAN:You can do so while in this chat session if you like and I'd be able to send it along immediately.
ROBERT:I just send the file bugreport

IAN:Just so I can make sure, you were waiting at 1 PM Pacific time (4 PM Eastern), correct?
ROBERT:yep which would be 3pm central time for me
ROBERT:and then again at 4:30 central time

IAN:I'm attaching your information to it now and escalating it.
ROBERT: ok, so we just wait for the next one and hopefully it works?
IAN:Thank you for being so helpful with this. This is something that one of our senior agents is currently investigating, and we're trying to get as much information about it to our engineers as possible.
IAN:This doesn't seem to be a universal problem, so I would suggest checking other servers at the time the curse should be happening as a workaround.
ROBERT: ok, one more question, When are we going to see the next story line, my pirate has been mastered for a long while, and its getting really boring
ROBERT:I even have another pirate almost to lvl 30
IAN:I don't personally know when that will be happening. However, our engineers are always working to refine and expand Pirates Online, so I'd suggest keeping an eye out.
