I think during the Christmas update the door no longer properly recognizes that you entered so when you exit the shop, you appear to glitch in to he wall, which requires you to spin your screen around until you find a wall to walk through. But don't walk through the wrong one or you'll get stuck between the outside wall and a fence.

Good - cause I thought I was messed up the past few nights at the beach... and sure enough the first time I walked right into the Fenced Area and took me a good 5 minutes to 'slip' out of a back rock space.
Ya definitely go to look around before moving to 'find the front of the store' - then run in that direction.
