I noticed the sailing compass lag issues too, Elf. Resetting zoom SEEMED to fix it for me, so I wasn't sure if I was seeing it accurately or not.
But, since they have compass as no longer the primary display, there are portions of "Sailing by COMPASS" that I'll need to rewrite.
