I'm partial to the staff myself, but i'd call the doll "a jack/jill of all trades". I suppose that makes it more useful, especially to lower 30's levels.

There IS a way to run with a charged staff... but that's a glitch (if Edward Edgemenace wants to know how, i'll tell him and ONLY him. I don't want this one spreading like wildfire!) and this is not the post for that.
