There are two ways.
You can swim around the Island - or - Run thru Beckett's Quary to El Suderon, take El Sud to the back beach. If your pirate is under level 20 or so, and you don't have a healer, i recommend the swim. Beckett's and El Sud are nasty places for wee pirates.
Also, there is a big scary boss blocking the entrance to the tailor on the beach. Run in FAST.
