I agree, I don't think knowing someone's age is necessarily harmful. However, suppose a not-so-morally-straight adult discovers he/she is playing with a child. He/she could subtly get the child to reveal where he/she lives, etc etc etc. This can quickly escalate into a pretty severe problem that can endanger children, and Disney certainly doesn't want to be liable for anything that may happen. Therefore, I think it's for the best that they try to keep personal info personal. Although you and I know how much is TOO much to reveal, a child may not realize the potential danger and may tell more than is wise. I give preventive measures 2 thumbs up.

But I'd love to know what kind of idiot tried to give their account information away...
