I subscribed to ToonTown for a year after release...mostly due to the low $5/month fee. But there isn't enough content in POTCO yet to justify a $10/month investment. There are other bigger games that are going to cost $15/month that look much more promising...even tho' they cost more.
Griffy, you sure do get around. Does Gramps know you are hiding out here. Better not let Keth or Columbus know you have your own ship...they may just might take away your new house. Or is it 'houses'??!!
Aye, the $200 Lifetime LOTRO subscription only covered online charges. When the expansions are released, Lifers still have to buy them. But you have to give Turbine credit, they have released TONS of content since release for free.
I hope POTCO follows ToonTown Online's model and introduces a lot of content after release. TTO didn't have COG Headquarters, Factories, the Race Track, etc. at release. Those were added later. All we had were Trolley Games, Neighborhoods, and Quests. The Score Board appeared after release too.
Fingers crossed that POTCO is a well-received success. I hope Disney Corp. is happy with the results of their investment.
