Have ye ever gone to disney, rode the POTC ride, and then COMPLETELY freaked out when the animatronic Jack follows your boat as if he is ACTUALLY watching you??
(When I went back after it was updated that one part with him in the barrel, I swear I thought he was real!!!) LOL
