Oh, and it does work at sea. Now you can (like before) actually aim the cannon at stuff and have it line up on the compass' radar deal.

Thank goodness - I was tired of all the guess work and surprise attacks from not seeing things right

ETA: Actually, now that I've island-hopped some, it looks like the compass issue is island-specific. It worked properly (arrow up for forward) on PR and Tuga, but not (down for forward) on PDF and Cuba (and the SvS islands...).
Can anyone else confirm this?

Confirmed - it TOTALLY confused me the first 10 minutes.... I thought I was walking backwards on PDF... and it being a new island the compass mis-direction only made me get lost quicker
