I suggest you keep playing the free version until you reach a point when you can't progress anymore. If at that point, you want to play more and unlock more features, it will be worth it.

I preordered the unlimited, but now I'm not sure if I am going to keep it. I loved the game in Beta, played it every day. Since it opened to the public, I just don't like it as much. Too many in-game problems. It isn't worth it to me to play at this point.
