Dueces Wild Scavenger Hunt # 3... First Night

Important Note: While I will be listening in on Vent, I will not be able to talk.

All chat with me will be in Open Guild Chat... so pay attention and .. well ... like ....actually read the guild chat.

And apologies ahead of time, all my chat will be in CAPS...so it can't be missed.

Remember:
1. Have fun...
2. Drink rum..
3. TP rules go out the window tonight.
4. No outside of guild help. No glitching against enemies.
5. Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 are to be done as a group. Screenshots required. Make sure you are crewed so I can see who is there. Just do the best you can with whoever is on.
6. Part 5 can be done by the stray, OCD late night individual or be divided up amongst yourselves.
7. All screenshots must be posted by Noon... CENTRAL time on Thursday. Give yourself plenty of time to submit the screenshots!
8. All answers must be PM'd to me by Noon Central time on Thursday. The answers do not have to be submitted as a single PM.
9. There is no official ending time because of all the differing time zones. 10. When in Doubt...Refer to Rule One and Two.

Part 1: ENEMIES...Collect the Bosses:

Screenies required.

For each enemy Boss that your team fights, you receive 2 X that Boss' skill level.

Remember that the skill levels change. Example: you fight him once he's a level 15, but then he regenerates to a level 18. First one would be worth 30 pts.. the second 36pts.

You can fight a boss more than once, but are only allowed to claim credit for each Boss once! No double credit for fighting Samuel twice.

BTW: there are 45 Bosses (not including any "new" ones that they might have come up with since the "new" enemies were added) and no.. I'm not expecting you to fight them all.

Bonus:
If you fight 12 different Bosses, 25 points bonus.
17 different Bosses, 50 point bonus. (total)
21 different Bosses, 90 point bonus. (total)
30 different Bosses, 120 point bonus (total)

Possible points for this task are Variable!!

PART 2: Going for the Gold... TREASURE HUNT

While you are fighting the bosses...collect treasure.

If you get treasure drops during tonight's battles against Boss Enemies.. submit the screenshots.

You will get points according to the treasure's value. The Treasure items will only receive the full value once... all duplicate items submitted by a team (unless a multi-item treasure like the chess pieces) will be given half the value.

Example: Mysty, Blue, and Jesse all get a Brass Locket Drop sometime during the night. They will get 20 pts for their team for this item .... 10 pts for one locket .. plus 5 for each additional locket.

Bonus pts will be given to the team with the most items collected in EACH collection. If by some chance your team completes a collection, well some bonus pts for that.

NOTE: This is not a task requiring you to complete each collection. Just submit the drops for extra points for your team.

Additional scoring notes:
All Clothing Drops will get 50 pts each drop.

Wild Card Treasure: Playing card drops will be given
3-9 = 5 pts
10-K = 10 pts
Aces = 20 pts
Dueces are Wild = ?? pts... 2-21 pts.. (lol have a random number generator)

While you might designate one person as the photographer for the Enemy Boss battles.. each of you will have to submit your own screenshots of your treasure drops.



PART 3: Going for the Gold.... LEVELING:

Since you will be doing a lot of fighting, I'm also giving points for leveling up. Screenshots required for proof of leveling.

Glow scoring: 10 pts per glow with bonuses.
20 glows or more: 100 pts
15-19 glows: 75 pts
10-14 glows: 50 pts

Extra Bonus points for Double Glows or Triple Glow screenshots (2 or 3 teammates leveling at the same time).

PART 4: AFK SURVIVAL RACE: My Survival .. that is!

At some point, I will call each team in turn to TP to Kelly Wildhawk. As a team you must AFK push me across an area that is full of enemies. You will be pushing, fighting, healing, and probably cursing me out all at the same time. The team to get me the farthest, the fastest, (or hopefully across the finish line) without me ending up in jail wins. I will be using a stopwatch feature on my iTouch to time the pushes.


Part 5: Questions and other stuff to dig around for

1. Name of the lazy blacksmith.
2. Name all of the NPC's who are sweeping?
3. Name the shipwright with a crate still in front of the business.
4. What color is the feather in Miquel Sanchez de Montoya's hat?
5. Since the update to the islands, which NPC no longer looks like an idiot? Why?
6a List the jewelry Garcia de la Avaricia is wearing.
6b Estimate the cost of his jewelry if bought from one of the jewelers.
7. Which tavern has a bouncer at the door?
8. What do you miss about old Tortuga? (Best answer gets the points for the question.)
9. Where can you still find pigs? How many pigs are there?
10. Which SvS Captain is very close to danger? And what is that source of danger?
11. How many treasure chests and how many red bottles can you find inside Devil's
Anvil?
12. Where can you find Marcos Hilo De Rosca Verde and what is odd about him?
13. Name the taverns you can enter / exit from both the front and back doors.
14. How many songs can you buy in the Royal Anchor?
15. How many unbroken cannons can you find at Gunpowder Sam's business?
16. How many pieces of meat will you find hanging in Port Royal?
17. Lol.. Are you looking forward to next week.. or are you putting a hangman's noose around my neck and including my body in the "meat count" in question #16.
