There are a lot of reasons why there hasn't been a "big update" yet. The economy could be a reason. For all we know their hours have been cut back severely.

This long period of wait is normal. On toontown there was(is) a cycle where Cog HQs come out with smaller updates in between cog HQs updates. It took two years for bossbot HQ to come out and we made it. It hasn't even been two years yet and people have said that the game is "dead". I don't know why there were almost no impatient threads/posts on TTC when Bossbot HQ was in the works but now there are countless threads/posts here about how the game is "dying".

The game is certainly not dying. We're just in between big updates. I guarentee that we'll see exactly the same cycle once the next big update comes out. There will be excitement and then after four months people will get bored and want more. I want to ask everyone here this question. Is it so hard to stop playing the game and tell yourself to be patient?

The developers are people too. In the developer bios I think there are probably nineteen developers. They can only do so much. Sixteen hours if you want to be specific since the brain needs eight hours of sleep.

If you've played toontown you'll also know that the UK players play with the US players. We all play on the same servers. The only difference is the websites.
