If they did truly make a guild house, where the structure would be specific for each guild - then I could see customization and even a place to have a roster or Hall of Fame would be excellent additions. Those elements are already there (via XD) and like the XD snapshot of your pirate - the VIP's could have their picture on the wall.
Would go a looooong way to help group cohesion and socializing, which is one of POTCO's strong suits.
