But the game used to quite often leave a pirate behind when we boarded the enemy vessel. Those pirates left behind could use thier cannons to help us out. Now if we lost, it might have been nice if they'd been able to flee the battle allowing the rest O the crew that lost on the deck of the other ship to return before port, but that was never the case. But with that cannon backup support seldom did we need any option like that! hehe.

I haven't seen it happen in forever, and I've been out recently with guild mates when all we do is board flagships, but back then I used to try and be the one left behind when I was a baby pirate, you would get cannon rep (from +2 up to +6 or +8 IIFC) from blasting the enemy crewmates.
