Not to be contrary, but very early on I did flat out swear at a pirate not once, but twice. I told him he was being a pain... Ya know. Never got a warning or anything. Was not very happy with myself after that. In fact, not long after doing that I decided I hated who I was as a pirate and left the game.
We see how that lasted!
I'm very glad to be back, and yet even 7 weeks later I'm still in shock that I never got a permaban for all out swearing. I really was incredibly rude that day. I haven't been that mean since, but I'll tell you what, I am very careful about what I say in chat.
