I didn't pay attention to the message, but if so, I believe they'll have all the updates out by then. These quests, some of them are exploring the new caves, so they would be needed.
The quest starts with the Captain Ezekiel, then it divides into three individual ones. Its probably just money and gold, but its better than nothing
