Old thread I know, but I only just heard they even had a game. As someone who is more than a tad obsessed with LOTR, (I once watched all 3 extended editions on a single Saturday.) I thought I'd at least take a look at the site. All I can say is WOW! The screenshots are amazing! The graphics there look to be to Pirates Online what Pirates is to Pixie Hollow. I didn't even know they did graphics like that for games!

I'm wondering though, how close really is it to the movies? And, more important to me anyway, how do you interact with the other players? I love the interaction in Pirates, and the many ways you can chat there. If you can't talk like that no matter how cool the game looks, no matter how great the story and game play are, if you can't chat it's no good.

I guess what I'm asking is, is it worth it?
