Well, really, the best way to get money is by (like so many of ye have said) joining public ships. This'll get ye gold fast, without puttin' damage on any of yer own ships.

Only join ships that meet the following criteria:
- Is a war class ship.
- Has a great percentage of health left.
- Has plenty of crew mates.
- Has a small amount of cargo already on board.
