Here in New England the first big snow storm is just ending, leaving us with 1 foot of snow, an early dismissal today and no school tomorrow. My kids are bouncing off the walls so happy to have a long weekend! Remember those days?
They've played in the snow (and they're teens lol), brought the "big dog" out to play who proceeded to shake himself off all over my floors when he got in, and ate "real" snow cones made from freshly fallen snow (NOT the yellow stuff, tyvm!)
I HATE winter and cold weather but I gotta admit this is a bit fun! I even got into the "run out and buy food as soon as the first flake hits" scenario today, along with half the city and took about 1/2 hour getting home which is usually a 5 minute drive. WHEW!
