Well, it would'nt effect the other side. Like i said, they could do an option where we can change sides. Work for Jolly Roger, then go back to Jack Sparrow, then do Davy Jones side then back to Jolly Roger, etc. Various Boss Battles might be included at the end of someones quest. It wouldn't be anything like PvP or SvS unless the quest giver says "Defeat an X amount of Players" so various parts might involve PvP. Like Machazzard said, there could be Islands based on who's side you want to join. A Jolly Roger Island(Padres?), A Davy Jones Island(Tormenta?) EITC(Kingshead?) Navy(Port Royal?) and Jack Sparrow(Tortuga?) could always get a little peace of jewelry from compleating Davy Jones quest that adds a little starfish on your face ^_^
It's kinda like SvS though, im pretty sure some players get a little irked when they sink, but it does not effect the other side or other players. (I dont mind sinking though, it's the glitchers that troubles me.) Know what i mean? ^_^ So, if they do decided to add a "Choose your side" Option, they could make it enjoyable for the pirates on all sides. could always say A friend is working for Jack Sparrow yet the other is working for Jolly Roger, they would still be friends no matter who's side their on. Helping the friend on Jack's side would not effect the one on Jolly Roger's side or their quests.
As for Reply a Cutscene. Kinda like a scene selection on a DVD. you pull up a little thingy and click which scene you want to reply. example: our pirates meeting Jolly Roger for the first time. We could reply that scene over and over again without having to go and make a whole new pirate
