I thought PvP was pretty chaotic enough as it is, especially the part where you have to get an X amount of points without sinking.. same goes for Abassa, and Kingshead Grenade Quest. But that's unlimited access. :P
But then, they could probably tone down something if (Big If) they decide to do a Choose your side feature. perhaps you do one characters quest, but cannot change sides once said character's quest is finished. Or they could just have it to Once a side is chosen, there's no going back. But at the same time, i dont want other pirates to all of a sudden say to themselves "Why did i join this side?"
It's kinda like AdventureQuest(I've seen adds on here i think, so i assume it's safe?) with the Evil, Chaos, Good, Order and Natural stuff. by doing various things will effect your pirates side. Example: Ezekiel Rott's quests, or however you spell his name. If he does work for Jolly Roger, doing his quests can effect a chart that tells you if your more good or more evil. Doing all of the quests can add up to the side-chart-thingy and you can join the side that fits your pirates traits or however you say all that. Or like the game Spore, doing different things effects how your creature will be like in the future (Warrior, Trader, etc.)

Navy - Order, Natural
Jolly Roger - Evil, Chaos
Or you can mix-and-match on which trait fits which side more. You can still change sides, no matter what the chart tells you, but you would have to do a quest to change either side or your traits. Probably given by Tia Delma. Probably confusing everyone. I know im confusing myself!
But i dont want POTCO to be to much like the games mentioned above.
Ah well, like i said: Idea is very unlikely. Would be cool though for them to look into the idea though!
