I just noticed by looking at my test server client release note list that a very important part was not included -

"Black Pearl Quest has been fixed - boss battle has been re-enabled. There is a known issue with the battle hanging at a black screen if you complete it with a crew. We are in the process of fixing this bug."

Even though you there is that bug so you can't do with it a crew I know many of pirates that are dying just to have the chance to do it alone. I know these are just the test server release notes but that means the open server is not far behind.
