While I was scouring the caves for dig sites and enemy respawns...
Darkhart was a little aggressive.. all I did was run past him.. didn't even engage him, uh, well not on purpose. He actually followed me down to Heartless Rosaline, back up to his turf, then back down to Rosaline.
